Using these Procedures - Mental Health

The procedures in the Mental Health (Social Work) area of this site are designed to support adult social care practitioners working in mental health services to perform the statutory functions of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

There is some guidance about care co-ordination and social circumstances reports. However, when carrying out functions under the Mental Health Act 1983, practitioners should have due regard for the procedures of the Trust.
